Bigg Boss Vs Society

Bigg boss! What an (un)expected turnover in the show. The girl who stole our heart for three plus weeks is out of the show now. When Kamal sir said its a social experiment, I doubted his statement. What kind of social experiment this is? What impact this show is going to cause? Like he said, it did cause huge impact on viewers and the society.

Each participant in the show represents a hidden character in you. Don't you think so?

Have you not tried to please your bosses or any house members, took their side even though you know they are wrong? like Julie did...Don't we talk behind people's back? it happens so casually. We decently call it gossiping.

Have you not tried to impose your thoughts on someone who is weak and try to be dominant? Haven't you feel irritated when someone doesn't follow your way or straight on your face say that you are wrong? like Gayathri does...

Like Snehan, haven't you been comforting soul for people feeling low?
Like Sakthi, Haven't you felt how can a lady be so bold...she is just a stupid female who creates scene out of nothing. Male dominant who can't stand-up and handle situations. Like Arar, at some point of time in your life you would have hidden your actual feelings for a girl / guy thinking of 4 people in the society. Have you ever stood up for the person you love among your relatives or friends?

Finally how many of you can accept a 'Oviya' in your family as a mother, wife, daughter..whoever maybe?

Let me tell you this, honestly not a single day you can stand that lady, if she is a part of your family. Will you accept a girl who is this honest and straight forward in life? you call her as egoistic female. When girl comes to you and express her feelings towards her, you demoralize her. True. Still a girl cannot propose a guy (Being judgmental).  This suits for everyone. Unless the person who expresses their feelings is smart / handsome / pretty / beautiful.

If I snap at a person in my family pointing that what they have done is wrong, I'm done. They would feel I have let them down.

I should say, everyone here has a little bit of Oviya's character within us. That's why all these fuss #SaveOviya, #OviyaArmy. We enjoy that childish, honest character of hers. We want to be like her..what we have not realized is that there is already an Oviya in us but we have not recognized. Because being yourself will not buy you anything in this society. We get angry not because the character is not appreciated in the show, it's because we love the character but we couldn't bring that out as we'll not be appreciated as they do 'Oviya'.

All these characters depict you! Us!

This show is teaching all of us a lesson.

  • Let's not encourage negative gossips
  • Stand up for the person you love every time not only once
  • Dominance is not appreciated. People respects a leader when they feel the leader is one among them
  • Gender bias is out of fashion. Grow-up
  • Be a comforting soul for everyone. Katti pudi vaithiyam is not bad
  • It's ok to loosen up our attitude slightly to be with the people you love but not at the cost of your self respect.
